Hallelujah!

This week I found Parenting Science – hallelujah! It’s a fantastic collection of evidence-based articles on babies and parenting. It’s exactly the website I’d be writing if I had the time, although mine would be British and more pregnancy-heavy. I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to find it! The problem of course is that there are a gazillion women (and men) online trying to obtain and share baby information, and so everything gets lost in the wilderness. I was reminded of just how many parenting sites are out there when I saw the BritMums Brilliance in Blogging shortlist. For a ‘short’ list, it features a surprisingly large number of blogs – from mums and dads – on all sorts of aspects of parenting. Wow, having babies inspires a lot of online sharing. If only businesses could find a way to capitalise on parents’ need for an interesting, flexible, part-time job that takes them away from day-to-day childcare.
